more Tony

BTW, I thought I'd share with you all as I know you're all waiting with baited breathe, my Tony is airing new episodes on On Demand.  THAT'S why I haven't been working out.... no new episodes.  Giddy Up.

Enough said...... weight gain of one poundat yesterday's weigh in after not working out for four days in a row.  My eating habits have gone to shit too.  Christy and I have opted to use a "health coach" through our insurance, mainly for the money added to our health savings account.  One thing my coach did want me to start doing is journaling my food.  Maybe if I force myself to put it out there for the world to read I'll start being more conscience of what's going in my mouth.

Wasn't as excited about this morning's No Reservations episode.  Don't know if it was the people of Prague or the fact that they eat nothing but pork and much of it's indiscernible parts. Although, my boyfriend did look pretty cute in his black Patagonia down jacket :)

Istanbul

Travelled to Istanbul with Tony this morning. Good stuff. At what point in my life do I start actually living my dreams of travelling? I've speant my entire life up to this point dreaming of the places I'll see and my vision is always as Bourdain sees it. I want to put Turkey on my “list of places to see”. So, is it a safe place to travel?  Now to find that travelling companion……

Do the Math

So I just did the math on the Tobay tri and am just realizing how much harder the Tobay's going to be than the Firecracker.  The bike is a few miles shorter and the run is about the same.  The swimming is over twice as far.  It's the equivalent of 44 laps versus 18 laps for the Firecracker.  I'm so f'd.

There's no update on the weigh in this week for a reason.....

Swimming in the slow lane

Swam 20 laps today at the Y during lunch.  There were surprisingly few people in the pool which made me less anxious to flop around.  My arms are sore.  Good sore.  I can't do more than four laps without having to stop and rest.  It's definitely not how I remember it.

Seriously, don't f' with me today

So it's another hormonal post.... I'm in so much pain right now and my legs are so weak.....  no one dares talk to me today, lest they get their head bit off.  ("Lest"?  What is this the 18th century?)  I did manage to get in some time on the treadmill this morning before the aches and pains set in.  Shit, I just remembered today is weigh in day.  I'm sure my bloating will help with this week's weight loss.  

Christy, if you're reading this, don't even bother to ask me to walk today...  a. you'll probably get your ass chewed out and b. see a.

Lifetime On Demand

So, television at 5:20 in the morning basically sucks.  Fox and Friends doesn't come on until 6:00.  Every other channel has infomercials playing and I'm not interested in PX90 or the Magic Bullet.  Which by the way sounds more like a personal enjoyment toy than a food processor.  Looking through the Free section On Demand and found Pregnancy Pact.  I guess it's loosly based on true accounts of girls from Glouster, Massachusetts getting pregnant.  It's actually pretty good.  There's this whole Catholic "stick your head in the sand and pretend it's not happening" thing going on in the story that's pretty interesting.  Which I, being Catholic, can relate to.  Anyway, good workout this morning....
