Day 2
2.0 walk @ 3.5mph. Talked with my co-worker and inspiration today. I'm gearing up to do the Fifth Third River Bank Run in May. 25K. Let the training begin!

7 Months
Seven months. It's actually been over seven months since I have thought about working out. Christy and I walked at work a few timesduring that period, but nothing to be excited about. I walked one mile this morning. How did I get so far off track?

On the Road
So I've been away from home pretty much since the 24th of February. Today is the first day that I've had time/resources to work out.

BTW, I thought I'd share with you all as I know you're all waiting with baited breathe, my Tony is airing new episodes on On Demand. THAT'S why I haven't been working out.... no new episodes. Giddy Up.
4 days without an elevated heart rate
Enough said...... weight gain of one poundat yesterday's weigh in after not working out for four days in a row. My eating habits have gone to shit too. Christy and I have opted to use a "health coach" through our insurance, mainly for the money added to our health savings account. One thing my coach did want me to start doing is journaling my food. Maybe if I force myself to put it out there for the world to read I'll start being more conscience of what's going in my mouth.

1 c. fries can you say fat ass? I wonder why I can't lose weight....... no comment from you Christy..... how's that snicker roll from DQ anyway? :)

Prague
Wasn't as excited about this morning's No Reservations episode. Don't know if it was the people of Prague or the fact that they eat nothing but pork and much of it's indiscernible parts. Although, my boyfriend did look pretty cute in his black Patagonia down jacket :)

Istanbul
Travelled to Istanbul with Tony this morning. Good stuff. At what point in my life do I start actually living my dreams of travelling? I've speant my entire life up to this point dreaming of the places I'll see and my vision is always as Bourdain sees it. I want to put Turkey on my “list of places to see”. So, is it a safe place to travel? Now to find that travelling companion……

No Reservations
Big love for Anthony Bourdain. Someone find me a man like that..... please. On Demand has his new season playing for free. This is my latest distraction in the morning. I've been to Brittany, France and the Hudson Valley over the past week. I can't get enough of his show. Intelligent smart ass. My kind of funny.
